About the role
Dizpharm Nigeria Limited produces NAFDAC-registered Chrismatel table water, in bottles and sachets, alongside its medicines at its plant in Ibusa, Delta State. We deliver on our own trucks: free and same or next day in Ibusa, Asaba, Okpanam, Ogwashi-Uku and Onitsha, and on set weekly route days to towns such as Issele-Uku, Ubulu-Uku, Agbor, Kwale, Awka, Nnewi, Ihiala, Benin City and Warri. We are hiring a Delivery Driver to run those routes — loading at the plant, delivering to depots, hotels, event centres, shops and other customers, and bringing the paperwork back correct.
Responsibilities
- Drive the assigned company truck or van on the daily delivery plan set by the logistics team, covering the Zone A towns and the weekly Zone B route days.
- Check the vehicle before every trip — tyres, brakes, lights, oil, water and fuel — and report faults immediately so no trip is lost to a breakdown.
- Load bottled water packs (50cl packs of 20, 75cl packs of 12) and sachet bags (bags of 20) correctly, counting against the delivery note and securing the load so nothing is crushed or damaged.
- Deliver each order to the right customer on time, offload carefully and confirm the quantity delivered with the customer.
- Get delivery notes signed and return them to the office the same day; report any shortages, damaged goods or refused deliveries straight away.
- Handle customised event-bottle orders with extra care, delivering them to the venue on the date agreed.
- Keep the vehicle clean, fuelled and roadworthy, keep an accurate trip and mileage log, and follow all road-safety and traffic rules.
- Represent Dizpharm politely with customers, and pass on customer requests or complaints to the sales and logistics team.
Requirements
- A valid Nigerian driver’s licence for the class of vehicle used, with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years driving delivery trucks or vans on regular routes.
- Good knowledge of the roads in Ibusa, Asaba and Onitsha and, ideally, the Delta–Anambra–Edo corridor.
- Able to read a delivery note, count packs accurately and keep a simple trip log.
- Physically fit for loading and offloading, honest, punctual and careful with company property and goods.
- SSCE or equivalent.
- Based in, or willing to relocate to, the Ibusa / Asaba axis of Delta State.
Nice to have
- Previous experience delivering beverages, bottled or sachet water, or other FMCG products.
- Basic vehicle maintenance skills and the habit of catching small faults early.
- Comfort working in English plus Igbo, Nigerian Pidgin or other local languages.
- Experience with route planning and multi-drop deliveries.

What qualifications and experience do I need?

Where is the role based? Is it remote?
This is a full-time, on-site role at Dizpharm’s plant at KM 10, Ibusa-Asaba Expressway, Ibusa, Delta State, Nigeria. It is not a remote position — you’ll need to be based on the Ibusa/Asaba axis of Delta State or willing to relocate.
