About the role
Dizpharm Nigeria Limited manufactures NAFDAC-certified analgesics, antibiotics, vitamins and Chrismatel table water from Ibusa, Delta State. We are looking for a Sales & Marketing Manager to lead our commercial engine — deepening our wholesale and distributor partnerships in the major drug markets (Onitsha Ogbo-Ogwu, Lagos Idumota, Aba, Kano Sabon Gari and beyond) and turning brand awareness into sustained sell-through.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the national sales and marketing strategy across all 36 states and the FCT.
- Recruit, onboard and manage wholesale distributors and key accounts in Nigeria’s major drug markets.
- Set and track sales targets, margins and territory coverage; hold the field team and partners accountable to them.
- Design trade-marketing and promotional programmes (margins, incentives, point-of-sale) that grow sell-through.
- Build and lead the field sales team — recruiting, coaching and routing medical/sales reps.
- Own brand positioning and marketing communications across digital, print and on-the-ground channels.
- Track competitors, pricing and demand, and feed market intelligence back into production planning.
- Report sales performance, pipeline and forecasts to management on a regular cadence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Marketing, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years in sales and marketing, including team leadership.
- Proven experience growing a distributor, wholesale or trade network in Nigeria.
- Strong commercial, negotiation and people-management skills.
- Comfortable travelling to distributor hubs and markets across Nigeria.
- Willingness to be based in or relocate to the Ibusa / Asaba axis of Delta State.
Nice to have
- Existing relationships with pharmaceutical wholesalers or open-market distributors.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or FMCG sales.
- Comfort working in English plus one or more of Igbo, Hausa or Nigerian Pidgin.

What qualifications and experience do I need?
A degree in Pharmacy, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field. A background in pharmaceutical or FMCG sales is a strong advantage. At least 5 years in sales and marketing, with a track record of growing a distributor or wholesale network — pharmaceutical or FMCG preferred.
Where is the role based? Is it remote?
This is a full-time, on-site role at Dizpharm’s plant at KM 10, Ibusa-Asaba Expressway, Ibusa, Delta State, Nigeria. It is not a remote position — you’ll need to be based on the Ibusa/Asaba axis of Delta State or willing to relocate.
What is the pay range for this role?
Dizpharm offers a competitive salary for this role, benchmarked against pay for comparable pharmaceutical-manufacturing roles in Delta State and the wider Nigerian market and scaled to your qualifications and years of experience. Exact figures are discussed at the interview and offer stage. For this role the package also includes performance-linked incentives tied to sales and distributor growth, on top of base salary.
