NAFDAC certified Manufacturing since 1986 All 36 states + FCT 5-7 day delivery

About the role

Dizpharm Nigeria Limited is a NAFDAC-certified pharmaceutical manufacturer operating continuously from Ibusa, Delta State since 1986. We are hiring a Production Pharmacist to take hands-on ownership of our manufacturing floor — from raw-material dispensing through granulation, compression, coating, filling and packaging — and to make sure every batch we release is safe, compliant and consistent.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily production runs across the tablet, capsule and liquid/syrup lines against approved batch manufacturing records.
  • Enforce WHO GMP and NAFDAC requirements on the floor: line clearance, in-process checks, hygiene, gowning and documentation.
  • Review and sign off batch manufacturing and packaging records, reconciling yields and investigating deviations.
  • Work with Quality Control on in-process and finished-product testing, and with the QA team on batch release.
  • Plan production schedules with the store and procurement teams so raw materials, excipients and packaging are ready ahead of each run.
  • Drive root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) when deviations or out-of-spec results occur.
  • Train and supervise machine operators, packers and technicians on SOPs, safety and good documentation practice.
  • Maintain readiness for NAFDAC inspections and internal/customer audits at all times.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognised university.
  • Current, valid registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
  • Minimum of 2 years post-NYSC experience in pharmaceutical production, QA or QC.
  • Working knowledge of WHO GMP, NAFDAC regulations and batch documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and disciplined record-keeping.
  • Willingness to be based in or relocate to the Ibusa / Asaba axis of Delta State.

Nice to have

  • Experience with tablet compression, coating or blister/sachet packaging lines.
  • Exposure to validation, stability studies or method transfer.
  • Familiarity with ERP or electronic batch-record systems.

What we offer

  • A stable role at one of Nigeria’s longest-running indigenous pharmaceutical manufacturers.
  • Direct, visible ownership of the production floor and real technical responsibility.
  • Structured GMP environment with room to grow into QA, QC or plant-management roles.
  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Questions & answers

Who is this role for?

This role suits a PCN-registered pharmacist who would rather work hands-on in production and quality than in retail or hospital practice — someone disciplined about GMP, batch documentation and consistency, who wants real ownership of a manufacturing floor at an established plant.

What qualifications and experience do I need?

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) and current registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN). At least 2 years in pharmaceutical production, quality assurance or quality control — ideally in a tablet, capsule or liquids plant.

Where is the role based? Is it remote?

This is a full-time, on-site role at Dizpharm’s plant at KM 10, Ibusa-Asaba Expressway, Ibusa, Delta State, Nigeria. It is not a remote position — you’ll need to be based on the Ibusa/Asaba axis of Delta State or willing to relocate.

What is the pay range for this role?

Dizpharm offers a competitive salary for this role, benchmarked against pay for comparable pharmaceutical-manufacturing roles in Delta State and the wider Nigerian market and scaled to your qualifications and years of experience. Exact figures are discussed at the interview and offer stage.
