About the role
Dizpharm Nigeria Limited produces NAFDAC-certified Chrismatel table water alongside its pharmaceutical lines at its plant in Ibusa, Delta State (on the Asaba axis). We are hiring a Bulk Water Sales Representative to drive high-volume sales of Chrismatel bottled and sachet water to the large buyers in our locale — event centres and event planners, hotels and guest houses, supermarkets and provision stores, restaurants and eateries, caterers, schools, offices, churches and other organisations that buy water by the truckload, pallet or in standing weekly orders. You will own the bulk-buyer relationships across Asaba, Ibusa and the surrounding Delta State market: prospecting new accounts, negotiating volume pricing, securing repeat supply contracts, and making sure every key buyer is served reliably and re-orders from Dizpharm rather than a competitor. This is the person who turns our local production capacity into a steady book of large, repeat orders.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect and win bulk water accounts across the locale: event centres, hotels and guest houses, supermarkets and stores, restaurants and eateries, caterers, schools, offices, churches and other high-volume buyers.
- Sell Chrismatel bottled and sachet water in volume — by the pack, pallet or truckload — and convert one-off buyers into standing weekly or monthly supply arrangements.
- Negotiate volume and contract pricing within approved margins, and close repeat-supply agreements with large buyers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the people who actually place water orders — procurement officers, store managers, event planners, hotel F&B managers and supermarket buyers.
- Plan daily route coverage across Asaba, Ibusa and the wider Delta State market so every key account is visited and re-stocked on time.
- Coordinate with the water plant and logistics team to ensure timely, reliable delivery of bulk orders and resolve any supply or quality issues quickly.
- Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly volume and revenue targets for bulk water sales.
- Track competitor brands, pricing and promotions in the local market and feed intelligence back to management.
- Follow up on orders, deliveries and payments, and keep accurate records of accounts, orders and collections.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years in FMCG, beverage or bottled/sachet water field sales or distribution.
- A proven ability to open new accounts and grow bulk/volume orders — ideally selling to hotels, event centres, supermarkets or restaurants.
- Strong selling, negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to reach and win over decision-makers.
- Good knowledge of the Asaba / Ibusa / Delta State market and its hospitality, retail and catering scene.
- Self-motivated, target-driven and happy to be out in the field every day.
- SSCE, OND or HND; a Marketing or Business qualification is a plus but not essential.
- Willingness to travel daily across the local territory; a valid driver’s licence or rider’s permit is an advantage.
- Based in, or willing to relocate to, the Ibusa / Asaba axis of Delta State.
Nice to have
- An existing network of hotel, event-centre, supermarket or restaurant contacts who buy water in bulk.
- Experience managing distributor or wholesale accounts in beverages or FMCG.
- Familiarity with bulk delivery logistics and order scheduling.
- Comfort working in English plus Igbo, Nigerian Pidgin or other local languages.

What qualifications and experience do I need?
SSCE, OND or HND is sufficient — what matters most is field-sales ability. A diploma or degree in Marketing, Business or a related field is an advantage but not required. At least 2 years in FMCG, beverage or bottled/sachet water field sales or distribution, ideally selling in bulk to hotels, event centres, supermarkets, restaurants or other high-volume buyers.
Where is the role based? Is it remote?
This is a full-time, on-site role at Dizpharm’s plant at KM 10, Ibusa-Asaba Expressway, Ibusa, Delta State, Nigeria. It is not a remote position — you’ll need to be based on the Ibusa/Asaba axis of Delta State or willing to relocate.
What is the pay range for this role?
Dizpharm offers a competitive salary for this role, benchmarked against pay for comparable pharmaceutical-manufacturing roles in Delta State and the wider Nigerian market and scaled to your qualifications and years of experience. Exact figures are discussed at the interview and offer stage. For this role the package is built to reward volume: base salary plus sales commission on every bulk order and case sold, performance bonuses for hitting volume targets, and a transport/field allowance, on top of base salary.
