Dizpharm Nigeria Limited is a NAFDAC-certified manufacturer of analgesics, antibiotics, vitamins and Chrismatel table water, operating from Ibusa, Delta State since 1986. We are hiring a Chartered Accountant to take full ownership of our finance and accounts function. You will run the books day to day — sales invoicing and receivables, supplier payments, bank and cash, payroll and statutory returns — and, just as importantly, own the costing that a manufacturer lives or dies by: what each product, batch and pack costs to make once materials, packaging, labour and overheads are counted. You will work in Zoho Books alongside our internal systems, keep the accounts clean and audit-ready, and give management a clear, timely picture of margins, cash and receivables.

## Responsibilities

- Own the full set of books in Zoho Books: sales invoicing, accounts receivable and collections, accounts payable, bank and cash, and general-ledger integrity.
- Cost products, batches and packs — building up material, packaging, labour and overhead costs — and keep standard costs and margins current as input prices move.
- Run month-end close: reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and management accounts (P&L, balance sheet and cash position) on a reliable monthly cadence.
- Track and chase receivables — including credit customers paying in installments — so outstanding balances and aging are always current and nothing is lost.
- Prepare and file statutory returns and manage compliance: VAT, withholding tax, PAYE, pension and other obligations, and liaise with regulators and auditors.
- Manage payroll and staff-related deductions and remittances accurately and on time.
- Monitor stock, production and material costs with the production and procurement teams, flagging variances and cost creep.
- Support budgeting, cash-flow planning and pricing decisions with sound, data-backed analysis.
- Keep orderly, audit-ready records and lead the company through internal and external audits.

## Requirements

- A chartered accountancy qualification — ICAN (ACA/FCA) or ACCA — in good standing.
- A degree or HND in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years’ accounting experience, including ownership of a company’s books.
- Hands-on product or batch costing experience — ideally in a manufacturing or FMCG setting.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as Zoho Books (or comparable, e.g. QuickBooks/Sage), plus strong Excel.
- Sound knowledge of Nigerian statutory compliance — VAT, WHT, PAYE, pension and company tax.
- Meticulous record-keeping, strong analytical skills and clear reporting.
- Unquestionable honesty and integrity — this role has full visibility of company finances.
- Willingness to be based in or relocate to the Ibusa / Asaba axis of Delta State.

## Nice to have

- Experience in a pharmaceutical, food/beverage or other FMCG manufacturer.
- Direct experience running Zoho Books — invoicing, customer payments, costing and reports.
- Familiarity with inventory and standard costing for a production plant.
- Exposure to budgeting, management reporting and supporting audits end to end.

## What we offer

- A senior, high-trust role owning the finance function of an established Nigerian manufacturer.
- Direct access to management and real influence over margins, pricing and cash.
- An established finance function and systems, including Zoho Books, to build on from day one.
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualification.

## Questions & answers

**Who is this role for?**

This role suits a chartered accountant (ICAN or ACCA) who has run the accounts of a manufacturing or FMCG business and is as comfortable costing a production batch as closing the month. You keep clean, audit-ready books, you are fluent in accounting software such as Zoho Books, and you can turn raw production and sales data into numbers management can actually decide on. Integrity and discipline matter here — this role has full sight of company finances.

**What qualifications and experience do I need?**

A degree or HND in Accounting, Finance or a related field, plus a professional chartered qualification — ICAN (ACA/FCA) or ACCA — in good standing. At least 4 years in accounting, ideally including manufacturing or FMCG experience — with hands-on product/batch costing and day-to-day ownership of a company’s books.

**Where is the role based? Is it remote?**

This is a full-time, on-site role at Dizpharm’s plant at KM 10, Ibusa-Asaba Expressway, Ibusa, Delta State, Nigeria. It is not a remote position — you’ll need to be based on the Ibusa/Asaba axis of Delta State or willing to relocate.

**What is the pay range for this role?**

Dizpharm offers a competitive salary for this role, benchmarked against pay for comparable pharmaceutical-manufacturing roles in Delta State and the wider Nigerian market and scaled to your qualifications and years of experience. Exact figures are discussed at the interview and offer stage.
